Lending Hands is the company’s non-profit giving and volunteer program. It’s a tangible expression of the company’s culture and values, which include treating others the way we want to be treated and stimulating change.

Giving Guided by Associates
Corporate giving and volunteerism is a grassroots effort at Option One and part of our culture of empowerment. Committees of associates work with our non-profit partners to decide how corporate donations can make a difference, and often combine financial support with associate volunteer activities to make an even greater impact.

Besides our formal involvement with Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity, associates motivate each other to get involved in other activities like walk-a-thons, toy drives and adopting families for the holidays. Special corporate funds are designated to support charitable efforts that are favorite causes of our associates.
