At our core, Option One is about homeownership, so naturally
we get excited about taking this even farther in our work with
Habitat for Humanity. We sponsor and build individual homes,
provide financial support to ongoing programs and serve as an
underwriting consultant to the Orange County chapter of Habitat
for Humanity. This chapter awarded Option One with its Sponsor
of the Year award in 2003.
Option One associates have sponsored and built Habitat for Humanity
homes throughout the United States in the following communities:

Although we do a lot at Option One, there are always more
opportunities to help, so we found a way to get even more
support for our partner, Habitat for Humanity. We created
an arrangement with Banc of America Securities LLC, Greenwich
Capital and Bank One, which underwrite securities for Option
One, that each donates a percentage of underwriting fees to
help Option One associates build more Habitat for Humanity
homes.
