Becoming an OOMC Real Estate Broker
Option One Mortgage Corporation continues to grow and is expanding its network of qualified real estate brokers to manage and sell its REO properties. Our objective is to sell the properties quickly, at the highest possible price, and to maximize our net return. To help us achieve this, we select our sales force based on specific qualifications outlined below.

Required Experience and Qualifications

- Active Real Estate License and MLS Membership within your market territory.
- Three or more years experience as an active Agent/Broker, with two or more
   years of REO/RELO experience.
- Affiliation with a Broker office that offers corporate services, has a local Real
   Estate Board affiliation, community recognition, and a support staff.
- Thorough knowledge of contract language, local regulations, customs and
   disclosure requirements.
Required Affiliated Services
- Maintain monthly billings (accounts receivable) cash-flow of at least $500 per
   month per property.
- Secure and provide general maintenance service for vacant properties, and
   respond promptly to emergency issues.
- Provide property management services for occupied properties.
- Register as an active agent with HomesDirect, our partner, and make all offers/bids
   through their website.
- Have Internet capabilities and an active e-mail address. All offer negotiations and
   notifications will be   communicated via e-mail only.
- Have the capability to electronically submit required forms, periodic reports, etc.
   Option One has standardized on the Microsoft Office 2000 suite of applications.
   For maximum compatibility, we recommend that our business partners use Office 97
   or greater.
- Obtain bids and coordinate work with licensed, bonded, service personnel
   (i.e., locksmiths, roofers, plumbers, haulers, clean up contractors, landscapers, and
   pool service personnel).
General Requirements
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to marketing and selling the properties.
- Excel at resolving problems and working with people in a proactive, independent manner.
- Knowledge of current market conditions, and a successful sales record
- Exceptional negotiating skills.
- Flexibility.
- Attention to details.

Your application will be processed, and upon approval, will be entered into our database. You will not be notified regarding the status of your application. Your completion of the application or our approval does not automatically guarantee assignments. You will be advised of a new property assignment as and when the need arises in your market territory.
